Default Type R Catback

I just bought a JG header from b18c4door, and now it's time for me to choose an exhaust. Im leaning towards the itr catback exhaust with a hi flow cat. Is this a good setup? or should i save more money and lean towards a greddy evo or an apexi n1? thanks.

depends what your power goals are for the car....

putting a stock catback is obviously not going to give you the exhaust size you want, but if you want the stock look and sound then go for it. I don't understand getting an aftermarket header and cat, then throwing a stock exhaust on there. It all depends on what you want from your car.

depends on your pricerange and tolerance for noise.

noise DOES NOT equal power.

I just thought since the stock itr piping is 2.25 and a lot of people prefer it, that might've been a good setup for my car. But i guess not. Im leaning towards the greddy evo 2. Probably have to save more money for that though.

go with a JDM R catback. 60mm (2.36") piping and it sounds sweet.

I've got the USDM Type R catback on my LS (w/the bottle neck removed). I went from a catback Apexi N1 to this... It's a nice daily driver exhaust, quiet, looks stock yet nice, and good midrange power. It definately lacks in the upper RPMs compared to the straight through N1, but the midrange seems nicer. I will be selling it in a month or so though. But if you only have mild power goals, it's a pretty nice exhaust.

Try this: http://www.passwordjdm.com and go to the DC used products for sale. They have an available one for a decent price.
