A post on honda-tech hardly qualifies as a published magazine, even Motor Trend.

 

Whatever you guys want to do to make yourselves feel better. I also work at Honda and will find out. So basically I don't care what all you think. When this car actually comes out you will all feel stupid. And is it because you guys own NSX's that you are all jerks? Too good for anyone else?

I have friends at Honda in high places and they're not even told about any future Honda plans. Honda is very secretive about what they do. Those who do know any information must keep it to themselves as it is part of an employment agreement upon hire. I don't believe anyone in upper management would risk losing their jobs by spreading company secrets about future Honda models to anyone below them. Even if you were the product planner for the NSX (which you are certainly not), your *** would be out the door if you breathed a word about the future of the NSX to ANYONE, as stated per employee contract. Certainly this clause does not appear in your employee contract since you would never be privy to this information in the first place. If you are, you are certainly breaking your employment agreement by posting information here.

What you are stating is a RUMOR. Articles in car magazines are also based on rumors. Photoshoped files flood the net everywhere. Stories about "I met a Honda exec on a plane and this is what he told me..." are too commonplace. Just because it appears in a car magazine doesn't mean it's the absolute truth. Take the info with a grain of salt. Just wait till the car is released!

 

Ok I understand. But what you don't get is that it was published in a magazine. So, no one would lose their job because it was already told to the world. And I have a feeling that it won't go through anyway.
