I need some help guys. I just bought a short shift adapter used from a friend of mine and i want to know how to take out the middle console(where the shifter and the e brake are.) cuz I want to install this adapter already. Ive taken out the 6 screws but it doesnt go up far enough for me to get in there. I dont know what to do next. :confused: I just want to get a clear access of the rod and cable so i can put it on. HELP

make sure you took out the screws from the front of the console (hidden under carpeted panels). if those have been taken out then put the car in fourth and just play with the angle of the console.
