My car just got boosted. After turbo install, the car bogs/hesitates, at the higher rpms with full throttle. Half throttle is no problem, just full throttle. My plugs are factory, gapped at .032. Do you think plugs that are too hot for turbo could make this happen? My timing was never messed with and the fuel filter's new. The only other thing I could think of is the o2 sensor. Can this be bad without throwing a CEL? Oh yeah my FMU is that edelbrock piggy back link so if all else fails, I'm sending that back. Please help out anyway you can

I don't have the greatest knowledge of turbo applications but I know a little.

Did you upgrade your injectors and fuel pump? If your motor is getting the boost but not enough fuel to match you could be running lean and bogging at full throttle is the least of your problems.

A friends eclipse was doing the same thing after turbo'ing it. Most of the problems came from the shop that did the work not doing it right by not upgrading the injectors or fuel pump.

 

It's the stock fuel pump and the kit came with 4 extra injectors. Do you suggest getting a fuel pump? What size should I get? Would you suggest, even though I have the 4 extra injectors, to upgrade my stock ones?

 

yeah dude with that high compression it sounds like your fuel is having a hard time getting into your cylinders
what psi are you running?
i would suggest a new fuel pump to go with thoes injectors... and poss a high flow filter too?
