K i'm thinkin of getting a Comptech lip for my car but their kinda pricey. I'm getting one cause I think the stock lip (i don't even know if u call it a lip if its stock, but the bottom most part of the front of my car) is getting beat up. What kinda beating can they take? What are other good brands of lips/chins?

Comptech is probably your best bet. Wings West, if you want a slightly less conservative look. I think as long as it's urethane, it should be able to hold up well. Mine's already all scratched up, and there's a small crack on the bottom from running over a strip of tire. Of course, the lower your car is, the more "beating" it will have to take. HTH

how well does the stock lip hold up?

 

stock lip should hold up pretty good. as for urethane, make sure you paint it right - put it flex when you paint. my friend had his car impounded for street racing and when the tow truck lifted his car up, his front bumper (urethane) bended a lil bit and the paint came straight off.

the tsunami lip is cool but it stickes out pretty far where thoes 2 points are so be careful
