I'm thinking about going with a Weld-In Sump ona Customer Car we are doing right now...Don't trust Stock Lines and a Walbro to 550whp, hahaha.
What brand is everyone using? I could fabricate one, but I would rather order something.

the comp engineer one that summit/jegs sells has 3/8" fittings on it,if your looking for bigger fittings http://www.wildridesracecars.com (732)751-1113 has one very similiar to comp engineering but it has 1/2" fittings ($44.95) and for $5 extra you could get it with 3/4" fittings.
might as well just buy a fuel cell for that, comes with all the fittings and then you can delete the gas tank, save weight, and money over sumping a stock tank.

very tru...i made one for my se-r out of ss sheet. i hole sawed some holes in the tank and tig'd the sump over that area. the holes act as a baffle kinda. ill take some pics tomorrow when im at the shop
Yeah, the hole saw is definately a must for the baffled effect. I've heard five 2" holes works nicely w/ the comp. sumps. I plan on making mine for my tank, but the comp. isn't to bad for the price and time savings.
Pics aare always nice when it comes to your guys stuff! thanks Javier!

the comp is just odd beacuse of the way the ridges are on a honda tank. The comp is perfectly flat while the stock tank is ridged. They fit together poorly due to the shape of the comp sump, so if you make one yourself it is more likely to fit well and be strong, in the event (Rare) that you are to ever bottom it out, the custom made one is less likely to get a tear.
Dave, you want to run a -10 out of the sump into the pump. You don't want to go too small on the inlet of any pump. -8 for the feed out of the pump is right, but you should always go bigger on the inlet.
Tony is right (duh), i have a -10 out the sump to the pump, and an -8 out the pump to the front of the car. I also use a -6 for my return line. HTH
