can someone please help me ? i have been getting mixed answers to this question. i have a 2000 si head and i can get my hands on a pair of jdm gsr cams. i was told by (jg) that the si cams are the worst cams honda ever made and that the jdm gsr cams are more aggressive. true or false

 

The specs are easy to find online, just search for it and it should tell u the duration and everything. I have an 00 b16 also, but around christmas im getting juns or todas :D

 

The USDM GSR cams are even more aggressive than B16 cams. You probably won't notice a huge difference with them though.

 

The worst (if you can call it that) B series cams are 1st generation automatic B16a cams. Those are the smallest cams that Honda has made for B-VTEC motors. 99-00 Si cams aren't that much smaller than GSR cams, but the GSR's are slightly (.2mm) bigger in lift on both sides and have more duration. Not worth installing unless you get them for free and do your own work.

 

i'm getting them cheap and yes i'm doing the work myself . does anyone have the specs for the 99-00 si usdm cams and the jdm gsr cams by any chance. and yes i've been looking for them but can not find them anywhere .
