Hi, if anyone can tell me if my plan would work that would be great ! I want to take my 1988 honda accord 4 door and put an h22a in it. I know for sure that i would have to modify the motor mounts so that they could fit, but i'm wondering about the wires and all the connections ?!?! Would it be a possible swap ?

 

Its possible and its been done many times on 6th gen Accords. Do a search and you will find some good info

 

I think he meant 88, which wouldn't be a 6th gen, but more like a 3rd gen i think.

 

yes it would be...i'd learn how to weld first so that you can get those mounts under control...

 

It's possible and has been done before, but I'll tell ya now it ain't easy!! Pretty much everything has to be custom done, so unless you're good at choppin stuff and have alot of time and $$$ to spend, I wouldn't recommend it as a first choice. B-series is a much more feasible swap, as they do make mounts and wiring harnesses for the swap into 3rd gens
