Duralite Rims
I am talking about 13" rims with 8 & 9" width depending on which outter shell is used.
I've tried a search on this forum and google has given me very little. I can find zero to nill info about this company or the rims. I've heard that the company may be going out of business in the very near future? Rumors? anything? The Outta shells can be interchanged however if the company goes out of business does this mean that we will not be able to find new parts?
Also, How strong are these rims? Do people have any close up pictures? Who has used them? Will they stand up to Road race/SOLO1 or are they just AutoX rims? What are some wheel weights? I believe i saw somewhere that a 13x9" magnis. wieghts 6.5lbs each?
Now, Keizer Aluminum Wheels. They apear to be a VERY simular design which has me worried. Should i be?
Read this and you'll see why

I'm looking for any information at all about either of these rims.
Appriciate your time

If you are looking at Keiser's you might want to consider another alternative - Kodiak Racing Wheels http://www.kodiakracingwheels.com/.
The Keiser wheels always have looked too weak IMHO - especially with the 4 thin double-spokes and magnesium construction.... 5 spokes and aluminum would better, though a little heavier.

Don't trash Keizer just yet... Keizer has a billet center as an option. i had to get it as their other centers did not clear my calipers. i have not had any problems whatsoever with mine. you can see the difference.

my wheel in a 15x8.5 weighs in at 12.2 lbs.not feather light, but lighter than most. my volk te37's in a 15x7 weighed 10.9, so 12.2 is not bad
edit: i just read that link in the first post. that was 4 years ago, and my guess keizer corrected the problem with those centers, or that is the reason they offer them in the same style center as my wheels. it is a very beefy center, i highly doubt i will break it now or in the future. also, just judging by the center design, i see many cars at the national level (autocross) that are still using them today.

And to add more info, here is a 15x8.5 Kodiak, and the weight is pretty much the same at around 12 lbs. I didn't get to weigh them before mounting tires, but with the same Hoosier A3S03 225/45-15, mine weighed 30.2 lbs.
Kodiak are working on forged centers for their wheels now, that will result in about 1 lb reduction on a 15" wheel.

Keizer has not corrected the problem with the centers they also have a problem with their beads widths conforming to standards and the ability to mount some tires, Hoosier and Goodyear slicks. Look at the Prod board.
Kodiak, funny let’s just say I ordered wheels from them waited over 8 months. Darrel produced one set of centers which were not even near conforming to drawings I supplied and were not close to fitting correctly. After a boat load of broken promises they never built the wheels, I gave up after 8 months along with a number of people on the Sports Racer board who ordered from them and had their money returned, be careful. Look at the SportsRacer board.

Took 4 days for me to get these Kodiaks. I confirmed my order on a Tuesday, and picked them up that Friday afternoon. They just happened to have these centers sitting on the shelf from a previous order!

Hello Jake,
Yes, those look like the centers he built and tried to pass off on me in November 2002, sorry to see he sold them to you. The spindle center hole is way over size and the lug holes are too close to the spindle hole. There is not enough material between the holes and they will likely crack in this area, sure hope they don't crack on you, I would never trust them. Joe Chung had a look at them along with some other engineers, and did not agree with their design in a number of areas beyond the spindle hole problem. I trust their judgment and engineering background well beyond anything Darrel at Kodiak has ever built.

Hey Marc,
These are indeed from your original order. I was also a bit concerned at first about the proximity of the lugnut/stud holes to the center bore. My car is pretty light (1,950 lbs), and I decided that I would try them. Should they fail, Darrel will replace them, and I will likely upgrade at that point to the new forged centers.
I did about 35 runs on them a BB with the Hoosiers, and so far so good.

Hello Jaker,
He has not been in business long enough, 1.75 years is not much history. Look at Keizer they fail regularly and people still purchase them.

so, BOTH keizer and kodiak are junk? i just dismounted my hoosiers (after nationals and about 5-6 local co-drove events) and my rims seems to have no blemishes whatsoever. also, let me add that my car is not the average autocrosser. it is a nationally competitive SM car that generates some pretty good cornering forces. if there is a fault in the wheel, i am sure i would have found it by now. i will clean the wheels and inspect them very closely this winter.

Sorry Rodney,
I have not seen or read of breakage problems with the design of your style Keizer wheels, the wheel pictured in the first post is the design with breakage problems. I have witnessed, read and heard of many breakages and conformity problems with the four spoke design wheels.
