Yeah, go to Maaco if you want your whole car painted, including windows, headlights, wheels, tires. J/K... DONT go to Maaco.

There are so much better ways to spend $1000 than a bad paint job to change from one color white to another. Especially when you consider that you're going from a quality factory job to a chop-shop slapdash job.

A good paint job will cost At Least $1500.

Ben

ps - the import scene has gotten to the point that nothing you do to your Integra will make it unique or special. It has been done before and everyone is jaded. Don't spend $2000 to change the paint color. Improve performance, sell the car and upgrade what you're working with, or save it for a rainy day, spend it on a Tahiti vacation, go to college, etc.

Its championship white.

I recently painted my maxima the same color. Had all of the dents and scratches repaired. Have to say, there's nothing better than a refurbishing your pet project.

Yeah, maaco specializes in single stage paint jobs. They dont last as they use low grade paint and clear coat. If you really want to do it right, find a good shop and have it done. It will last, and you will have that new car feel once more.

as for my integra, i have a few projects in mind. changing out the bushings is primary agenda. alternatively, i'd like to shave the side moldings whcih will require the doors and quarter panels painted. I may just get the front bumper and hood done as well since there's rock chips from highway driving. lastly, clutch and flywheel replacement. clutch is still good for a few thousand miles but i have a lightened flywheel and clutch waiting in the wings. all for 2004

big difference in color like from white to yellow when you open the hood looks nasty imo.

NH-0 is the correct code.

Anyways, may I ask the reason why you want to paint it an "ITR" color? And where did you hear that its bad to paint cars during winter time?

OH..go ahead and get your car painted at maaco then you'll realize the true meaning of "You [really] do get what you pay for."

Stay away from Maaco!
Quality is terrible. It'd look better spendin $25 on spray paint and goin all out. Basically,it's the number one option for thieves. throw down a hundred bucks on a new victim, have it painted a new color (windows and all ), and that gives the bastards a couple more days to strip it down and sell it out
Screw you, Maaco!

A good paint job is gonna cost a loooot more than a hundred bucks, but it's most definitely worth it

i actually had a car painted in the maaco, and it came out pretty nice. i am sure it all depends on who does the job. and i can't afford to pay 1500 and over to paint the car because since i am parking on the street, these old people don'tknow how to park and they just bump into cars leaving mad dents and scratches. if i have a garage, i will def. spend 1500 or even 1 million dollars..but i don't have the garage to put..hm..what should i do?

I honestly don't know what maacos you guys went to, but the one around here is amazing. I've had 6 people I know repaint their cars from there and they came out immaculate, including my parents. Maybe it's because we know the owner, honestly I'm not sure. Anyway I was thinking this weekend I would get my car repainted, I'm just not sure if I should wait for the spring. Probably going to keep it Alpine white. I'm getting an amazing deal too, usually the job would cost around 900, and I'm getting it for 600, including my wheels. I'm sure some of you guys got the cheesy 150 dollar special, what do you expect? It's just like chain restaurants... Some places have good employees that are good at their jobs and care, some don't, you can't generalize a whole chain because of an experience at one place.

very nice rex. Did you write up some info about your experience with maaco... like a long time ago? From what I remember the prep work was key and done all at home before taking it in to maaco. I'm thinking about doing the same thing with my rex.
