Default 93 dr civic DX problems, PWR windoes, dash lights...

sup
my moms 93 four door civic DX's dash lights were randomly turning on and off on me, and now they are off permantly. Havnt checked fuses or anything yet, any suggestions as to what to look for/check??
Also, the driverside power window switches do not opperate the rear windows at all. then i try the passenger side rear door switch, and it rolls the window down just fine,, but not up, so now the damn thing is all the way down and i cant get it to roll back up. i tried juicing 12volts to motor to make go reverse,,, it didnt happen though. When i hit the switch down, i can hear the motor making a little noise, nothing ont the up position. ANY SUGGESTIONS?? its cold out!
thanks to all that help me out!

check your fuses first
easiest way 2 go..
and 2 get ur window back up i would change the switches
use driver side switch on passenger
vise versa..
