locked up stock motor on a 95 dx hatch, any hope?
i bought this car from a chick who apparently didnt know you had to change the oil, so of course the motor siezed up. its a 95 dx hatch which i think comes with a d15z. my question is, is there any way to tear that thing apart and tap out the cylinders or do i just need another motor. now before everyone tells me to do the obvious and drop in a b series im just trying to fix it and sell it to feed my gsr with new goodies. any help is appriciated!
i dunno about where your at but over here in ny you can find tons of dx motor in the junkyard for 100 dollars or less. nobody wants them dont even bother fixing yours.some people will give you their old motors if you would just come and take it out of their garage. and if she dint change the oil for so long then i would think everysingle internal on the dx motor has alot of detonation already so if you fix something on it now something else might go out later on.
hoped i help,laterz
