Default Opinion: N1 Mounting style

Should i attempt to mount my universal n1 completely straight or at an angle? Would it look retarded if i had it straight?

Mine came angled on my hb (all of them do on the hatches) and if i could make mine straight (straight from the factory) i would.

My opinion: Straight

straight.....unless you have a diamond plated muffler that you really really wanna show off to the people behind you.

the less obtrusive the better.

i think you should leave it how its supposed to be. Most N1 exhausts come angled/tilted for a reason...only reason i can think of is for better ground clearance? if you had it straight it would scrape all over the place. if your car is just dumped, now thats a different story. its going to drag regardless

angled all silly. as long as you know someone who can weld, its easy. i got my universal N1 mounted sideways and it looks sick. dont do it straight.

Exhaust comes out straighter, better flow. If you look at the last bend you will see.

When I had an A'PEXi N1, it came angled but I later changed it to straight on. I think it looked better angled. Seems more fitting for N1-style mufflers. And if you really wanted to represent the angled look, you'd have the piping come straight off the cat and then only bend once so the muffler exits under the bumper cutout. There's a pic floating around of a Buddy Club exhaust that shows what I'm talking about.
