Isn't is a waste to throw away your current motor? Is someone buying it?.. that's the only thing I see with swapping a motor into the new civics.. what a waste of warranty/etc..

a 4 year old car is "damn old"? At that rate, what the hell do you consider my 90 crx? A 69 camaro? A '55 ford? all of these cars are seen on the street.. at the rate of a 4 year old car being damn old our cars would be extinct.. what the hell are you talking about..

Honda's warranty only lasts 3 years so if it's a 2001 and he bought it new in 2000, then his warranty is up or almost expired. Regardless, props on a nice looking car and what would potentially be a very nice ride with that new engine. Car & Driver spotlighted a 7th Sedan with a K24 bottom end/RSX-S head frankenstein...
