Default Source for Convex Mirrors

I need a couple of the cheapo mirrors that you clamp to your roll cage. I can find them on any of the usual suspect sites (RPW, Discovery, Essex...).

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Scott, who is making aero progression on the race car this winter - no outside mirrors is item #1.

not cheap... but they won't vibrate and/or fall off.

Scott, I am looking for the same thing, and didn't see them on BSR's online catalog. I have been told you have to go to a truck stop, but I am trying to avoid that.

Let me know if you come up with anything, and I will do the same.

Thanks for the BSR links and I did find those mirrors. But thats not what Bowie and I are talking about.

I've seen these things on dozens of race cars but never asked where they came from. Now that Bowie has mentioned truck stops, I realize that they are the round convex mirrors that bolt to the brackets for the trucks main mirrors. You clamp these to the A pillar down tubes on the roll cage and as a result don't need any mirrors on the outside. Every little bit of aero help is useful in an ITC car, trust me.
So I think I've been looking in the wrong place. They are probably coming from trucking and towing supply places. Maybe even places like Northern tool (who carries alot of towing stuff).

Off to re-direct the search...

I have a set of the round convex ones from trucks that you can have Scott. I bought them cheap a few years ago but my wife and high end fabricator friend gave me so much grief about being cheap that they shamed me into getting a better set of rectangular convex mirrors.

I haven't installed either set but now have no need for the round ones. I got the rectangular ones (2 sets I think, been too long) from an ITS RX7 racer from the Indy area. His company name was Vans (like the shoes).

$9.95 from yahoo. Can probably find it at the local truck supply store.
Thanks Bowie!

If you want to get rid of them I'll certainly take them Lee.
Thanks!
