Minor suspension mods...like 1.5" drop???? and maybe strut and sway bars.. Will they void the warranty with minor modifications like that??

That's one "nice" thing about the short warranty periods (3 years / 30,000 miles), you don't really have to worry about what will affect the warranty for long since they are gone really quick.

If your car is still under warranty, just call Honda (or write to them, so you can get an answer in writing) and ask.

 

all it comes down to is: did your personal modification cause the problem?....if yes, then you pay. If not, then honda picks it up

 

I think the previous owner purchased an extended warranty, which was passed on to me...oh well....it's only going to be lowered 1.5"...so it shouldn't be that bad...
