Water pump leak?? Help me decide....
I started my car today for the first time in 1 month (tranny install, waitin for $$) and noticed a leak. Coolant is running down onto the manifold, and down each corner of the oil pan under the timing belt side. I looked up to where the water pump is, and right behind the alternator there is a tube like thing that looks like a water hose hook up, with nothing hooked to it. Right beside it is the bolt that holds it, and right to the left of that bolt is another bolt, and it looks like the leak is originating there...or somewhere really close....anyone??
the water pump and gasket are not terribly hard to replace. It sounds hard becasue of the timeing belt, But anyone with some basic skills can do it in a afternoon in their garage. pm me if you need some help

THANKS TO DEEPGREENGSR and King_i, I may be calling on you guys for help. Is this a common problem with integras? it could just be that i am over 170k
So today I wanted to make sure that the leak was in fact originating at the water pump, I looked and looked and it seems that the water is coming out the bottom water pump bolt. Or I mean it loooks like it is dripping from between the pump and block at that bolt....assuming i am loooking at the correct bolt. You can see the bottom water pump bolt from the fender well, without having the timing cover off, correct? (bolt i am referring to is to the left of the alternator, directly to the left of the tube like thing that looks like a heater hose should be attached. Also how much is a water pump?

I personally haven't changed either, but the timing belt cover isn't on all the way, so at least the belt was changed....but i am the 2nd owner and the 1st was a girl who took it to the stealership for everything, either way I am going to change both.

There's bolts all around the waterpump. I don't think any particular one is called to 'lower' bolt. The others are covered up by the lower timing cover.
There's a weep hole over there, too. If it leaks out there, it means the waterpump bearing seal is where it's leaking. Tightening won't do any good. There's 2 bearings, the weep hole comes from the space between them. When the first one leaks, it drips out the weep hole so you know about it. Otherwise it would just leak into the timing belt & you wouldn't know about it until it got a lot worse.

if its gushing water as u poor it in from the back when the car is off is that the same bearing. Its highly noticeable, i forgot my car was from california and did'nt increase the ratio of antifreeze to h2o, and i'm just an idiot for that
