Integra Water Pump....how to?
On a 94 LS where exactly is the water pump? Do you have to pull the engine to change it? I noticed a rather large coolant leak after my teg sat un-started for 1 month. I think perhaps the gasket dried out and is leaking now (170K)
The water pump runs of the timing belt. The belt needs to be taken off to change the pump. Its routine to change the pump when you change the belt. I dont recommend attempting this w/out someone who has done it.
It's driven by the timing belt so you don't usually see it. About halfway down on the backside of the engine, sorta where the alternator mounts are. Can't see it unless you take the lower timing cover (#1) off.
There's a round thing in the top right of the lower timing cover, that covers the pump pulley.
