Is anyone running a greddy turbo kit on a 2000 gsr??? Cause i just got off the phone with greddy and they said that their turbo kit wouldn't be compatible with a 2000 gsr cause it's only for 98-99 GSRs'. He said it's due to a different ecu, cause i have more emission restrictions on my car, and the fuel curve is different. Is that true?? Does anyone have it installed on a 2000?? Thanks

 

yeah, the kit harware itself fits perfect. but the piggyback isn't supposed to be compatible. Did he have the blue box installed??

 

I have it on my 2001 gsr and it has no problems. 2000 and 2001 use same ecu. You need the get the ecu diagram as far aas what is needed and extend the downpipe a few inches. Thats about it. And make a bung for the 02 sicne the o2 in 2000 and up is in the downpipe not cat. No problems withthe blue box working fine for me and have other friends with 2000 using blue box. Make sure you solder connections
