They are out there. My buddy is a mechanic for Mercades, he has this cool computer type device that will start all of their cars. He said the dealership guards that thing with their life though.

My cousin is a bonded repo man here in MD. He has a huge keyring of master keys. He can get into my car and start it in less than 45 seconds.

It's not like you need a key to get into a civic and start it anyway.... I'm all up for theives having master keys.. keep them from ruining my weatherstripping.

HAHA, that's so damn true...Honda'a are already easy enough to break in and steal (have had mine broken into twice and stolen once ). However, someone really should **** this dumbass over. I really liked that idea of sending him an email and then getting his name and address and turning him in

Exactly! On my last hb, I had a separet power switch for the starter power, and then for the fuel pump! Both hidden! And i had a car alarm too! They wouldn't be able to start it if they had the key, and if they managed to do it, They earned it!

ive seen one before, it was red instead of black and they are for dealers when a shipment of cars come in they dont need a million different keys to move all the cars.

but yeah even if some had a key for my car they wouldnt be able to steal it anyways

if they're going to make a master key then they'd better make one for my autolock too . and then somehow find my 2 fuel cut off switches.

What your looking for are kill switches. I have one for my fuel pump, It's super easy.

To Do:
Rmove your lower back seat, to gain access to your fuel pump and wiring. Turn your car on and cut a wire, if your car putters out then thats the right one, Now hook up a switch of your choice to it. I lenghtened my wires to place the switch somewhere inconspicous and where I've never heard of or seen one before, some people re-use dash switches or buttons that aren't in use ie. cruise control, or defogger. Once you wire up the switch put everything back. Tah da... a kill switch.
you can do it for the battery as well. or both

Now they can't drive your car away, they can robb you but not the car, unless they got a tow truck

Another good method of theft protection is just to remove your ecu.

But not realistic unless away for a week or more - kill switches R the best bet, just be carefull not to blow your self up in the process

if you guys have watched the news recently

there was this one experiment where the reporters went out found 3 cars asked the women inside to cooperate with their investigation, got all three vin's from 3 different cars a 98 eclipse, newer model mustang, and a suv forgot but it was a 03 model. all the reporter did was go to dealership tell them she locked her keys in the car with registration and everything around the corner, reporter looked like she was civil, gave them her vin number and voila. 2/3 said " im going out on a limb and im going to give you the key" and it was done.
its not master but through your vin you could get your keys cut the exact way your originals are

this is most common way how r's are stolen read that somewhere else.

no dont correct my grammar not here to be schooled.
