I'm having issue with my Si gauge cluster in my EG...I went to change out the bulbs and took those blue condoms off of them. When i put them back in...my gauge cluster literally started smoking...and the lights went out. So i checked and sure enough there's a spot in the back where it got fried...
Anyways, what i really want to know is...are the lights on my cluster toast now?? Or is there a way i can fix it...??
If you guys got any ideas plz post..thanks

i think id be a little more worried about the cluster than the lights themselves...
when you changed them did you happent o pull a little too hard maybe?
try some new bulbs and see where that goes, check the fuses too

I had to replace one of the fuses...but for sure i know that there's a section in the back that got fried...Ya i think it is time for an SIR gauge cluster...If i could just find one for a decent price..ya know..
i bought a used cluster and i installed it and everything worked but the lights...it turned out the paper wiring(green covering with copperlooking flat wires) on the back was ripped so i soldered it together and it works great now
