I have been searching now for a couple of hours with no luck. I am trying to find out what parts I need and how to install the system. I DON'T want to just paint the bulbs I want the real deal.

install what kind of "system?" are you talking about the jdm climate control?

Ya I'm talkin about the JDM climate control. My buddy says that he has the head unit and where all the cables etc. attach looks totaly different. Is he wrong? If so great!! Also are there any other relays or other JDM wigets that are reqires to make the system work.

 

the jdm climate control is electrical and the usdm one is mechanical. the entire systems are different. what people w/ jdm climate controls in eg's do is this.

Remove the stock face and bulbs from the unit itself.
Remove the face and bulbs from the jdm control unit.
Replace the bulbs in the usdm controls w/ the bulbs and face from the jdm unit.

the actually jdm control unit will not plug into a usdm civic...it's incredibly different

 

Correct! JDM is completely different! You can't even do the swap if you had the JDM Heater core because it vents in opposite directions!

Mine is as described above! Looks same as JDM!

 

Thats what I thought but I have read about people that say they have actually installed the complete JDM climate control system are they just installing the face plate on the factory USDM heater controls?
