seen it, but didnt see the thread about it here.
I for one still dont believe it was all real,
speaking as someone who knows how computer graphics are done, this would be ALL to easy to do with cg, and far too unrealistic to be real.
most elaborate blah blah blah ever my ***.

it doesn't seem real to me either, but mad props if it is! one thing that confused me was how did the 2nd tire/wheel speed up as it was going up the ramp, unless it was weighted throwing its balance off.....
whatever, either way it's cool.

Re: (sol2nr)
Weights are placed in the tire at or near the 12 o'clock position. That way, once the rolling wheel hits the next wheel, it would knock the wheel off balance, and the weight in the tire would fall a downward motion causing the wheel to roll up the ramp.

Re: (Tad)
i also know how cg works, and i think it was a dope commercial. even if some of the objects were cg, the idea was tough, and overall fun as hell in my opinion.

yeah i read that it was all real...and it took over 300 takes to get that right. apparently the crew threatened to quit after one more failed take, but luckily they nailed it that time. it's an awesome commercial.

if it is real, there must be a conveyor belt making those 3 wheels go uphill..it would never naturally go uphill like that with so little force.

Over 600 takes. The only CG part was stitching the first half of the ad with the last half as the studio wasn't that long. It's stitched somewhere during the muffler roll if I remember correctly from a BBC show.

Re: awesome honda commercial (Outrun)
it is an old add but still cool to watch. and yeah its real i read a huge write up on it and it described all the stuff they had to do each time to get it right. man that would have been tedious
