Nice you tell Earl about the o rings? I would be looking for more power then that on race gas

 

I did make him aware however I never even gave them the chance to remedy it. I just had it done by my favorite machinist who is only an hour away from me.

Based on the customer service and the way I was treated, I am almost positive that earl and benson would have taken care of it for me if i made them aware and allowed them the chance.

I give them two thumbs up, will definatly do business again.

oh as for more power on race gas... it may be possible but I have a feeling I would need to upgrade the cylinder head further to make over 600. I dont know just yet, this is my first boosted H motor. I am not sure how hard I want to push it anyway, I would rather make 575fwhp and have it last a while then make 650fwhp and break things.

 

Well it shouldl be sick anyway do you have pic's of the car? Who's tuning the car?

 

looks great , I am eagerly awaiting to see your dyno graph, as well as your impressions of the car! I wish you lived closer, I would love to do some pulls against that car and see how similar our powerbands are, as well as to ride in the car...... it's all about useable power!

turbozxi: I do have pics of the car... do a search for posts by me I have been updating HT with pics of the car as I painted the engine bay and did some interior work and also a lot of suspension/brake work.

EVERYONE there is a part I forgot to buy... Today when I got back to the shop and was about to put the head on the block I thought... ****...

I never did decide on or buy a f'n headgasket!

I need to overnight a cometic or stock... which do I get??? I got the ARPs to hold it down.

Stock Headasket will do perfectly, especially with the O-rings.... you shouldn't have any problem, that's what I use.

I don't have any experience with Cometic,.... and again I wish you were closer as I have a BRAND NEW H22 headgasket still wrapped up, on my shelf!
