I want to take my whole dashboard out of my 93 ex to dye, how do i take it out, how long does it take, ive asked this before and the reply i got was a link to some haynes repair stuff thats im sure is good but doesnt work on my comp so anybody that can help

 

yes, a helms manuel would work great, Theres only like 6 bolts and they will tell you exactly where they are in the manuel

 

well ther is quite a few thing you have to remove first in order to remove the whole dash..
like the cluster cover trim..
glove compartment
cluster
top dash vent
plus some other pieces..

but there are 6 main bolts that hold the whole dash together..
1 on each side of the dash (L & R)
1 on the left bottom side near the fuse box
1 on the right side behind the glove box
and 1 behind the dash vent on top of the dash

hop ethis help but yeah i recommend you using a HELM manual's it really help.

 

how do i pull the top vent out?

 

use a flat head screw driver and pry the end of the nvent that is toward the windshield..pry it toward you cause that where the clip is holding at..after you pry it up there is a lil clip joint that kinda hold the vent to the dash(not that hard to take out)..

 

ok, i got all the bolts out, how do i sneek it by the colum and signals? how many wire looms are attatched to it, can somebody maybe send me the helms picture of how to take the dash out my email is Tfalconier@msn.com, thanks
