urg wont run with the h22 obd1 ecu , but will with the accord ecu , im using a jdmhondaparts jumper.

Tell us more about the wiring and what was done to it to make it work.

 

its a obd1 motor in a 96 obd2 car, the wires were redone to make the distributer work also it runs fune with the accord ecu perfect in fact, i purchased an obd1 conversion harness from jdm honda parts and it will not run with the obd1 h22 ecu it barely idles then if you touch the gas it dies .

I've used a JDM P13 Auto ECU in a OBD-2 Accord H22 swap before and it ran....but with a flucuating idle that I never got around to figuring out before the owner threw a rod in it.

 

i say try another conversion harness,if the f22 ecu works,im willing to bet the conversion harness has some bad or wrong connections.
