Default Looking to buy a Prelude...have questions

Hi...

I am looking to buy a Prelude (lost my Integra recently due to an accident) and just had a few questions.

1. Real world prices...do you think I could get a 98 or 99 Prelude (base model) for around 12k?

2. What major issues should I look out for when looking at a Prelude (specifically a 98 or 99 model)?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, do NOT buy an SS, I did not knowing and I've already done the swap.... and you live in Lehigh Valley? I know a couple people that live there that are into ludes... sign up on preludeonline.com and you can find a lot more info usually than you can here.

The only way to learn is to buy the car, even if your brother has to drive it home. You go out on the back roads and just **** up and stall your car till you get the hang of it. That's what I did anyway.

I bought a 98' prelude in August with 68,000 miles for $10,400. I love it. I am having a minor elcetrical problem. Not sure if it has to do with the car or all the add ons it came with. Add a body kit and the prelude is the nicest car on the ride imo. Shouldn't have any problem finding one for <$12,000. I bought mine off Ebay believe it or not.
