Default Loud Engine Noise, What is it????

I was driving my car ealier today and all of the sudden I hear an engine noise from the drivers side of my engine. It sounds like it is near my driver's side rim. It sounds like a helicopter. The noise is EXTREMELY loud and fast all through the speedometer. The only time I can't hear it is if Im on the gas (Atleast 10% throttle) or if Im on the brakes. It's almost like a really loud knocking.
Pressing the clutch and putting it into neutral does not stop the noise.
I feel like my car's about to fall apart!
My spark plug wires pops out all the time, and I mean like right when I start the engine it'll literally shoot straight up, I have been hit in the head before. It's the 2nd plug that'll pop out instantly and the 4th one will do it after Ive be driving, but never at start ups.
You think this has anything to do with it?
Engine is a B16a2

so your plug wires shoot out of head when you start the motor? Eh.. you got problems if they do get it checked.. The knocking is it a hard knock or tapping noise?

Check your caliper and the caliper bracket and make sure it's bolted on tight...

Thas it man , I did that but before you replied so you dont win anything, jus kidding, thanks though.

I have MSD 8.5 wires and yes they literally pop out of the head and sometimes hits me on my nose.
THe 2nd plug wire shoots out like a rocket the only thing holding it down is my hood, I took off the spark plug plastic holder cause it doesnt do anything but make it hard for me to snap it back in place.
When I push the wire back in it's hard for me to pull it out but as soon as my engines running its like a rocket shootin up.
My 4th one only comes out after I've been driving and yes I do hear a pop when Im driving and I know that it's popped out.
My 1st and 3rd does NOT come out.

you also might want to tighten down your spark plugs but seriously, tighten em down, on my old ls the number 1 cylinder plug was loose and the wire shot off sometimes, tightened down, got rid of my shitty fitting aftermarket wires, problem gone

i had a lose plug, to the point where it took about 2 1/2 turns of the socket to (360 degree turns) to tighten it down, but as soon as i tightened it down, problem was gone, went and got some new plug wires though, along with an msd sci setup
