I was wondering how much horse power to the wheels I would make at 13psi on a drag 3 gen kit on a 95 gsr.

 

Depends on the integrity of the engine and the engine management, With a properly tuned stand alone U will make more power than with a stock ECU, look for about 275-300 whp

 

a formula that i've seen in my corky bell turbocharger book is that for every pound of boost you can expect 10 hp. on a properly turned engine that is. so theoreticaly you could get a max gain of 130 horses. that pretty nice when you think about it.

 

13 PSI on a GSR...

With the Drag kit and nothing else = 0 hp in very short order.

 

i wouldnt use that estimate since a stock drag kit will take a app.140hp motor to app.250 at 7.35psi, thats 110 hp.. thats about 15hp per psi...

generally a properly built, properly tuned GSR, with drag3 kit can make up to 350whp @13psi.. but plan for around 300and u will be happy

 

i put out 307 at 11.5 psi on the drag 3
