hmmm

tires psi was around 20

i launched about 4 pretty much dumped the clutch, little spin when the nitrous kicked in but not much

the nitrous just activates at WOT

its alot harder to launch running nitrous than I expected...even with the drag radials...tires like to spin big time

 

nice job ... so traction was a problem with the zex kit

 

traction is my biggest problem with the zex kit. I'm running a 14.4 on the stock gsr tires ( god i hate xgt-v4's!), tire spin is a bitch... i usually feather the clutch a little and make sure not to hit wot till i got traction... but i'm still new to the track and my reaction times suck!

 

Good run into the 13's, if you can lower that 60' times you should be able to see 13.6-13.7s.

reaction time has nothing to do with et.....

hehe you just barely got into the 13's. With slicks you'd probably hit a 13.7 at best providinig you get a 1.9 60'

 

nice, congrats, by the way couldnt u technically not arm the zex kit with the swicth till after u launch then flip the switch and let it spray at wot? or i am confused about the way the zex kit works??

 

1. that would be difficult unless you mounted the switch in a very convienent location, such as steering wheel (which I don't want to to)

2. spraying off the line will produce a better 60 ft than I could manage w/out spraying

 

like someone said, reaction time is unrelated to the ET

and .500 is the best reaction you can get, not that it mattered on this run cause I was racing a sport bike needless to say he won

The Nitrous will help you most in the 60', very important.... too much wheel spin will only get you higher 1/4 end speed tho....ummmm get better tires for the track ?! Or try launching at a lower rpm to get initial traction and then juice it....

just broke it in, it's fast as sin. MBC and K&N installed within a month and shooting for 13's. yay!
