Default eg h22a "knock and egr" not hooked up to ecu

i just recently got my car out of the garage, its a 92 si hb w/ an h22a jdm swap. i took it today to the muffler shop to put the mgnaflow cat and resonator w/ 2.5 piping and a tanabe hyper medallion rear section exhaust. on the way to the shop, the check engine light went on. i checked the code and it was the knock sensor. do i need to have it hooked up, or how can i get rid of the engine light on besides turning the car off/on again? this is the first drive i do on the streets so i sure im gonna find some things wrong here and their...
thanks again in advance!!!

Yes, you do need to have the knock sensor hooked up with the P13 ECU. The Spoon program also looks for the knock sensor but I have a modified version of the Spoon program that does not look for the knock sensor (PM me if interested) but the EGR is still looked for. Only way around the EGR, for now on, is to use a P28 ECU w/H22A program (which we also have).
