I'm looking to get a EG 4 door. I'm not sure which one I want or what all comes on them. EX would be super nice but much harder to find in good condition. I know about the motor/tranny/ecu difference though.

sunroof?.... or pop up roof?
4 wheel dis brakes or drums?
abs?
weight difference?
interior differnce? lighting?
exterior difference?

power locks LX & EX Both Do

this isnt all true. lx's come with a tach and some lx's came with 4 wheel disc abs.

 

Shauns right except LX's had Tach's and Si's had power steering also. Basically, here's what an EX adds to an LX:

125hp SOHC VTEC Engine
Power Sunroof
14" Wheels with wheel covers (92-93 LX's had 13" wheels with wheel covers)
Different Upholstry
A/C (Was not standard on LX)
ABS Models added ABS and 4 Wheel Disks

Thats all I can think of right now...BTW LX sedan weighs 2319 lbs and EX sedan weighs 2480

exterior is 9.5 ........ by far the cleanest EG9 i have ever seen, paint and finish is near perfect. no dents dings ect.
interior is about 9 non-smoker, super clean, no rips tears ect.

what do you guys think I should pay for it?

Is it Automatic or 5 speed? I would probably pay $4,000 for that. Are you planning on swapping the motor? If so, I would just find an LX in equal condition for about a grand less.

 

Yeah $4k around that. I paid $3100 for my EX with all the options you listed, just had some paint fade on the roof & 120k miles.

Do 92-95 civic EX that have rear dis brakes have a 15/16 MC or is it same MC like in Si, cx/dx ect?

cause the one i saw was huge.
