He offers headers, and catback exhausts. All quality stuff, plus Dave is a cool, helpful, knowledgeable guy
IT was great to finally meet him at the EXPO and see some of his work (and hear it) first hand.

I'm sure there's more current stuff and pics available, just IM or Email him and let him know what you are interested in.

The reason I told you to search for pics is because I found this in 2 seconds:

SMSP is located physically within driving distance of you, BlackThorN.
And there are currently a couple of SMSP-equipped cars at Sakai's shop, which is within walking distance of SMSP's shop.
It would be easy for you to get an up close look at the people and the material, if you wanted.

thin ice. relax and answer as others have instead of the 3rd degree. Yes a little more searching would have helped him(which i'm suggesting he try in the future)...but responses like you posted is uncalled for.

You're welcome. but, theres no need for any *** kissin or bein jerky. You didn't like how you got treated?...
Had you used the SEARCH correctly, you could have come up with the same results. You need to adjust to ARCHIVED TOPICS, Then move to the TYPE R FORUM, then if you want, SEARCH BY USERNAME SMSP. And of course take some time to sift through the posts to find what you want.
Of course I'm happy to help, but, people that don't help themselves or get all pissy are just as bad as the guys who pass on incorrect information and or just tell you to Search.
And nuttin for nuttin but, there are loads of topics archived on this site and the SEARCH function works Very Well. Just take a minute to read and look around a bit.

dude I'm sorry if you misunderstood but I was NOT kissing your ***, I was giving thanks where I thought it was due..next time I'll just say nothing and never visit the post again...my bad
as for searching usernames, I personally don't do that for every product I search for, I figured if I did when I look for mugen stuff I"d come up with 234907234098234 matches...as I didn't know SMSP was a small company or person in this case
as for people that dont' help themselves and get all pissy...well I assume this is a shot at me, considering you just gave a lecture about the search function, and if you had checked some of my archived posts I think you'll find iM" at least better then most
I've been reading and looking for exhaust info for about 2 months now, I come to the Type R forum because it seems to weed out most of the pissing matches in the other forums.
I withdraw my praise and comment
/end rant

There is no Sermon, there is no Rant, I am Not Arguing:
I think you missed the point altogether, and I would like to clarify.
It wasn't solely aimed at you, but as well towards the recent influx of;
New Members Posting Queries that have been previously answered in depth and Archived,
And the multitude of For Sales, or Wanted To Buy postings.
You asked for help and many members here are more than happy to oblige, myself included. But, your attempt at retribution against Haunts previous Search comment and Hamsterballs
wasn't really neccessary IMO. I know you weren't kissing my ***.
In the interest in keeping this On Topic as possible and To the Point, you got the help you asked for, so lets please not try to drag this out to much. And it was NEVER my intention to make it a "pissing match" as you so eloquently put it. We are an active helpful board that survive and thrive well due to the educated participation, self policing, and (I think) average age or experience level of active members.
If you have a question then Please Search thoroughly First.
If after you Search, you still need help or couldn't find the answer, then by all means post a query.
But, I gotta agree with the other guys, it took me about 10 seconds to find the information I posted with loads of other related topics as well, just by manipulating the Search function. It ain't hard, and it's amazing what you may find. Sometimes I get lost in archived posts for hours when I happen to look up a related topic, (not a bad way to pass the time when bored out of my skull at work.)
Do Not take this the wrong way and or personally.
Anton

I'll post some pics of a system I just finished. It's at the coaters right now getting the stealth look for the muffler. The customer got a full system so I'll try and lay everything out and got it on one shot.
thanks dave!
and grey teg, fair enough, I'll try to stay ontopic but everyone else can at least try and slow down on the hammer head and search posts....slow down...not stop

peace

Here are a couple of pics I took today for a complete exhaust that is on it's way south right now.
[One image deleted]
The resonator and muffler got coated with high temp ceramic black for the stealth look.

Dave: In your last system (or the one on Grandpa's) you had 2 resonators instead of 1. It also seems to me (in the picture) that the muffler looks abit different. Can you please shed some light on this?
Also did you ever get Magnaflow to make a SS version of the can? TIA

Dave, I notice that there isn't that 2nd resonator right before the axleback. Is that first resonator a Magnaflow? Or is it your new ones?
I also notice you offset the collector on that header to end more on the right side. I'm guessing this was done to eliminate the 2 bends in the catback. Can you comment further on this?
