Default ? About JDM 4-1 to Carsound Cat to Stock exhaust piping length

Now say I install the JDM 4-1 with carsound cat. Is this setup the same length as the USDM Headers + USDM cat? Or is the JDM +CS Cat setup shorter/longer than where the us cat bolts on in its way back ? Thanks

The cats come s a universal part, they are then modified with the proper flanges and length to fit a variety of applications. So, as long as the application and which header is used you shouldn't have a bolt up problem. You will have the mismatch/bottleneck at the B pipe though.

If you specified a JDM header and USDM exhaust when you ordered, then it should work out fine.

Exactly, YOu can also specify a JDM header and JDM exahust and the cat would be fabricated to make this work.

Does this cause any leaks or problems with the connection?? Or is it more of a performance disadvantage.

Talk to SMSP for an adapter that you can easily have welded in to remove the bottleneck. I did, works great!
