if its anything like NY, a lil trick is to overpay the ticket by a few dollars(obviously after you figure out how much)...the DMV will issue you a check for the amount you overpayed and finish processing your ticket.......UNLESS you do not cash the check, ticket will linger in the system somewhere and the process will be incomplete....no more ticket (well at least no points or notifacation to insurance)

who the **** told you that? Why would they waste tax money to print out a check and cost them money for materials and man hours? Not to mention many government checks are void null within 30 days. So it Doesn't add up. I've had a friend overpay 20 bux on a redlight ticket. They kept his money. The way the DMV in GA looks at it down here is if you are stupid enough to overpay your ticket. They have the reserve the right to keep your money and you probably deserve to get bitch jacked like that.

I heard the same thing about the ticket and sending too much money. My friend did that and still has not received the ticket, so maybe it does work.

how fast were you going? Whatever you do, fight it. Fight it by written declartion, if you pay it then you are giving in, but if you fight it there is still hope.
alrite, i know i risk being flamed on this one...............
lol, but do you really believe that you're being a serious hazard to the rest of the motorists out there for going under 80 mph on a regular, (not big city/ rush hour traffic), freeway?
(recently got a ticket for going 78 in a 65 at 9am saturday morning on an EMPTY freeway in East Bumblef#$k, upstate NY. i'm just venting, will stop now)

What the hell were you doing? Thats worse than a speeding ticket. Basically you got cited for "Street racing". Thats 2 points on your record versus 1 point for a regular speeding ticket. Try your best to talk your way out of this one... good luck

I know in texas they print the prices on the back of the ticket, unless it is something strange you are getting the ticket for.
so you pulled out of the paint shop and next thing you knew you were getting a ticket? wow, are you going to tell that to the judge? likely he would take your license away and institutionalize you for being a schitzophrenic.
honestly officer, someone took over my body and now I have to pay the ticket, this sucks!
I guess you should probably just say next time, got the car, went for a race to see how much extra power the paint job gave me, and then got a ticket.

were you in a hurry to get to english class or something... you should see if you can get if reduced, i am not sure where "failure to control vehicle" falls but it may be better then exhibition of speed. do some research, don't believe what you read here.
