how much more hp do u have if u take ur cat off?
will it be alot louder?

hardly any. i had a buddy do it to his jdm b16 civic and he hates it. it gave him a little low end power but made him run rich

If you switch over to a test pipe, your top end will come alive, stock cats are really restrictive. If you have OBD1 you won't get a CEL, OBD2 depends on the o2 bunges and how they are welded into the pipe. Too much info for a noob.

youll gain noticeable hp with test pipe...dont hollow out your stock cat...its not worth the time/effort because its still restrictive. just have a muffler shopw make you a test pipe.

Just get a high flow cat. The stright pipe or test pipe ain't worth it. Unless your running a turbo or something.
