B18b on B18a tranny?
Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy a 91 teg, for about 1500, but the catch is that it either doesnt have a motor or it has a blown motor. So, my question is will a B18B block work with a B18A tranny? Or will i have to get a long block?

You shouldn't have to get the conversion kit because the 91 teg is a cable car and the tranny is also cable. As far as wiring you will have some wiring to do if you are putting the an OBDI motor in an OBD0 car.
if you keep the same distributor and fule injectors it should be a straight drop in. i have a friend with a 4 door 91 teg it is an automatic with a good running engine.. for 1500.. but i think u can get a better deal if you find something closer.
