Changing engine coolent
Whats the best/proper way of doing so?
I'm about to be swapping several heads on engines, and I've never messed with the coolant before. best way to drain, best way to refill, best fluid to use?

Remove the plug on the bottom of the radiator and drain the radiator, remove the drain bolt in the block and drain the block, and refill with coolant (your favorite brand) properly mixed with water. I try to go for a 60-40 split favoring coolant.
Green and gold coolent is best choice for japanese radiators. Since the JDM stuff doesn't come here, it works the best, protection and funtion wise. I read articles in motor trend.
Also, remove the radiator cap and oxygen caps so all the fluid comes out...

Contact your city's waste management office, they will tell you how to dispose of antifreeze.
And your second question, go pick up a prestone flush n' fill kit from pepboys. It works great and is very easy to use.
