Default F22 Transmission

I have an F22 5-speed. I want to change the transmission should I get a JDM if so which one? Will it have longer gears?

The F22 has the longest gears. You'd want shorter gears for faster acceleration.

Bottom line:
H22 tranny is shorter than the H23, which is shorter than the F22/F23.

http://www.h22a.org/specifications.htm

^has the gear ratio for F22/H23/H22 trannys.

From what I hear H23 are the best way to go for F22. Most say that the H22 tranny has too short of ratios. ( i donno how true that is)

Go for the h23, know that you'll suffer some mpg on the gas millage though (highway).
