**** what proportioning 40/40 valve to get and brake booster?
Well i'm getting a set of 94gsr complete brake for my 90 ef hb si for dirt cheap.
I wanted to know what OTHER parts i should pick up so that I get the best results or my brakes. Here is what i have down so far.
1) goooood brake pads!!!
2) SS lines from Stan(flamenco-t)
3) 90-91 civic ex master cyclinder 15/16
4) brake booster........ (is that the black thing the MC bolts on to? which one should I upgrade too?
5) what 40/40 proportioning valve to get? since i will have larger disbrakes on all 4 coners?

Yes it's the black thing, 90-91 Civic EX will be fine with the MC.

is there a difference in the brake booster of the 91 EX over the ef si?
how much does a remanufacture one cost?
Also what does the 90-93 40/40 proportioning valve look like?
should i buy new or ok to buy used?

Yes, the Ex has the 15/16 MC and booster, the ef and si have the smaller one. Still good but why waste your money when you can have something bigger and it costs the same.

Kind of hard to explain, Or maybe I am just bad at explaining, but used is just fine, go to a local junk yard and just ask for one and they can tell you the price, I would buy a used prop valve and a reman MC. The booster can be used also.

What kind of knuckles are you going to use? The GSr ones may affect your steering geometry. Look over the below links, you may find some info that may help.
Does your car already have the 10.3 front brake discs like the 90-91 Civic Ex sedan? If not you may have to 'upgrade" the steering knuckles so the brake disc is centered properly.
Here's a link that may help: http://hybrid2.honda-perf.org/tech/bigbrakes.html
If you find out anything about using 91 Integra LS steering knuckles on a 90 Civic please post here, it’s pretty similar to what your doing.

PS: Some have used an 89-91?? Prelude M/C as it is 15/16 also, will bolt right up to stock booster. Above link has info about that.
Thanks,
