HMMM... I would think if you check the color code on the wire to your starter selenoid and find it under your dash this would be a simple splice/install...
What am I missing here?

You will burn up the switch in the button if you wire it up directly. You need a normally open relay wired in with the button.

Yup - an "N/O" or normally open relay is needed to keep your button from burning out. Also - since you will not get any wiring diagram with the button, it will be helpful to know what the pin layout is...
- looking at the back of the button with the female connection slot facing down(5 pins going left to right) the first 3 pins are for lighting of the button (your dimmer switch uses 3 leads).
- The last 2 pins (farthest right) are the in/out for your actual switch. These are the 2 that you need to connect to your relay to provide the 12v bump that causes the larger signal to your starter.
Hope this helps - I'll be providing a full How-To on Bseries in November.

I've got mine but don't trust anyone to install it. It just sits in the box and looks at me...

yeah, i also had my s2k button sitting here for 2 months as well, i really don't trust the audio/alarm specialist to do it, so i'm going to ask acura when i bring my car in for service. by the way, i paid $45 US from a guy on ebay.
