Default Redline MTL or MT-90?

I'm here in Midwest, Iowa. Very cold in winter and hot in summer. Which one is suitable for this kind of weather? Thx.

MTL = 10w30 weight, MT-90 = 75w90 weight gear oil. Our tranny calls for a fluid of 10w30 viscosity so MTL is the one.

Remember that gear oil & engine oil viscosities are measured against different scales. A 75w-90 gear oil has about the same viscosity (at 100 C) as a 10w-45 engine oil. It gets more complicated when you compare viscosities at different temperatures, too.
