koni yellow/ GC coils... problem....
i had koni yellow/ gsr springs and my car handled very good and was stiff. i switched and put groundcontrols about 6 months ago, and recently i noticed alot that the car is gettin to be very bouncy which wasnt a problem before with the springs i always set my shocks to almost harddest setting. y is my car so bouncy? my car handled soo much better with gsr springs. is it the groundcontrols making my car bouncy and handle sh*ttier?
I believe the off the shelf Ground Control kit for the Integra is 375F/250R and at least the front is progressive rate. Its definitely setup for safely and not cornering.
Your car is probably bouncy becuase you dont have the Koni's set stiff enough to properly dampen the increased spring rate. Try setting all 4 shocks to 3/4 stiff and give it a go.

I must have skimmed over that part. Oh well try setting them to full soft then
Full stiff makes my car bounce too, almost like the shocks dont give at all. Its not like a big uncontrolled bounce but more like very small series of bounces. 99% stiff seems to make the shocks much more complacent than 100% stiff. Koni doesnt recommend leaving the shocks set on full stiff for a long time.
I think he just has to find the right setting to properly dampen his spring rate. There tends to be a "sweet spot".

i have the exact setup you have. it is very very finnicky. every new tire i try out i have to adjust the settings on the shocks. every different tire pressure as well. and when i go back and forth from auto x settings to street settings it is a pain in the *** to fine tune it.

yea i got the off the shelf GC integra spring rates. well its not set to fully firm. it its almost near firm. guess ill just have to find the good spot by adjusting them. no my car isnt even that low. i cant adjust because i guess stuff got caught in the coils so i cant even adjust the height right now. thanks guys

How low do you have your car? It happens when you lower your car. On stock springs, you had plenty of suspension strut shaft travel. Now that you're lowered, you're getting a lot less travel and therefore, your ride feels more "bumpy." Does it feel like a controlled bounce or an uncontrolled bounce? Just because the ride is more "bumpy" compared to stock doesn't mean the struts aren't doing it's job properly.
With those OTS GC spring rates, the Koni sport struts should have no problem handlings them.

i know what the problem is, i have very low spring rates (200/180) my koni/stock GSR springs handled and felt EXCELLENT. should i get higher spring rates for the GC eibach springs? im guessing like 330-350 front and 400 rear?

i remember reading from a post where some guy explained how the 200/180 translates into 400/350 (or something similiar) spring rates. I'm not too sure but can someone verify this?

that number does not mean 200 lbs/in up front and 180 lbs/in out back. call eibach and read them the number and they'll be able to tell you exactly what you want.
and a harsher ride is the price you pay for less body roll and better handling. I run 380 lbs/in front and 450 lbs/in rear springs and i love the ride. I'm actually swapping some stiffer springs on all around during the offseason. If you want a car that handles well you have to make some compromises. why doesn't anyone understand that? I see all these posts about "got XXX springs and konis, now my ride sux wtf?" well, if you want a smooth ride, put your stock suspension back on!!
