i have been racing for a while (i do not consider my self a street racer jet need more experience) anyway my honda has turbo but thats beside the point i will like to know when to shift gears do i need to wait right before red light ( like i been doing) or should i try shifting at peek power (like 6000 in my car)

i have a non vtec sohc tubo red lines at like 7200 and i never go tha far i shift at 6500 or 6800

please let me know how u do it i wanna becom betere at this

 

I think you should dyno it and plot your shift points based on that. Also what's a street racer jet?

 

i ment to say im a street racer but not very good driver
