how to read the ECU identifcation numbers on the side
Hi..i just had a simple question.....is it possible to distinguish between an obdi or obdii ecu by looking at this code:

No but it's from an Automatic (hence the "5" in A51) Integra LS/GS/RS. There is a date stamp on the side of the case. If not that, then you can easily tell by the ECU plug type if you know plug difference between OBD1 and OBD2.

Great...thats what i was afraid of...either it not be obd1 or it being an ecu for an automatic
