what is a p75 ecu out of??

also, what is the box that looks almost like an ECU found in the trunk of a 95 civic ex..

thanks for the ecu help..

the car used to be an automatic.. not sure if that has anything to do with the box in the trunk... its on the passenger side behind the carpet...
