aight my car 98 itr is not running like it should be ok heres the deal couple a weeks ago i switched distrubitor with my friend with a gsr to get through emissions cause the crank postion sensor was bad inside the distrubtor and i had a check engine like cause of that so i wouldnt of passed so i switched them then went back to switch them car wouldnt start so i looked at it took the distbutor off put it back on and it started but had no power so replace the things in the distrubtor still ran bad thought it might off been the cat being clogged but it wasent that neither check the timigng on the gears off two teeth so we fixed it a little put it one teeth off and it didnt make a differnence and its not a bent valve cause i got good comprasion and my exaust manifold glows red hot tell me what you think

 

If the problem seems to have originated from the distributor, then odds are that's where the problem still is. Make sure the plug wires are plugged in correctly.
