that's the LA region's solo2 homepage.
the LS on H&R's should be ok, but what's more important is acquiring a good driving skillset.
see you out there!

Track time track time track time.
When I started autocrossing last year I spent a total of $55 (not counting stuff like food
) for 3 events. Don't worry about mods, run what you've got. Last year I knew I wouldn't be running for class wins because I was stuck with all-season Michelins, and running tires like that really teaches you car control. The fun part about having a poorly prepared car is exceeding your expectations!
Just go to the track and have fun, once you've figured out what you want to do there will be plenty of people here and elsewhere that can steer you in the right direction as far as preparing your car for a specific class.

That was for a track day, which is much different than autocross. A track day or HPDE (high performance driver education) is usually a non-competitive event at a race track. Drivers are put into groups according to their ability and passing is only allowed under strict rules within safe areas on the track. Autocross is a competitive event usually within a large parking lot with speeds under 65 mph. Cars are on the course one at a time and are timed. The best run or best cumalative of runs determines placing within class.
If you already know the above, please disregard.

If you have not been to an Autocross yet, I wouldn't recommend adding parts to your car until you know what you want (through experience on the course).... I've made the same mistake before.
Run what you brung and be prepared to probably suck
JK (I DID!!) , and realize there are some really talented drivers out there- and they will be happy to help you out.
When you feel up to it, and if you are serious enough about taking it to the next level, take a HPDE at Willow Springs or Buttonwillow Racetrack (if you are in SoCal). Track days are VERY different than autocrosses...
Have fun.
PS: Your wallet is now in some serious trouble, if it isnt already.
