Default Routine Maintenance

car has a bit over 80K .. any recommended maintenance you would suggest aside from regular oil changes? i bought the car at 60K and it had all scheduled maintenance done up till then..

would you recommend using any of that fuel injector cleaner or any products similar to that or is it a waste of money?

thanks!

On your I4 ’98 Accord?

Read your owners manual, of course. I believe it has the same maintenance schedule as my ’99 I4. Are you sure that all of the 60,000 mile stuff was caught up on?

If so, then the only thing due is to have the engine coolant replaced, which was due at 75,000 miles. At 90,000 you will have a bunch of stuff to do, but that will be next spring or summer.

There is the inspection stuff also (inspect the brakes, check parking brake adjustment, and visually inspect the following:
Tie rod ends, steering gear box, and boots
Suspension components, driveshaft boots
Brake hoses and lines (including ABS)
All fluid levels and condition of fluids
Cooling system hoses and connections
Exhaust system, fuel lines and connections
