Default Recommended exhaust size

Did a search the most I came up with was stock ITR exhaust size. I have a 2.25 exhaust which is the same size as stock.

Now this car is pretty much going to be used for HPDE/autox. What is the best size Diameter exhaust to run with. 3"? The motor just has bolt on's no cam changes or anything at this time but eventually probably will.

Will I be just as fine with a 2.25 exhaust or should I go bigger since the motor won't need to much back pressure as it will be in the high rpm's most of the time.

Thanks for any help.

I'll make you a deal on a T1R b-pipe and Spoon N1

But yeah, 2.5" is the way to go even w/ minor mods.

$450 and you get a free Spoon N1

Hehehe I know that sounded rude just couldn't resist. If I sell them they'd have to go together, wouldn't wanna split them up.

Got any need for a SS thermal 2.25" cat back? I probably won't be ready to load up on that for another month good buy for sure though.

Also do I get a couple sets of free ear plugs. I've heard that setup I love it but heard it loud and clear.

Haha I'm not actively selling it so if you get the money in a month or two hit me up.

The exhaust isn't too loud, definitely not as loud as my previous Apex'i N1 but I want something louder than both (put together)

I'd have to agree did a test n tune at gingerman this year open header. I have a video you can hear the exhaust note echo'ing 1/4 of a mile away off the tree's it's pretty damn funny. So yes I'm sure it's a toned down exhaust.
